A CHARITY Pancake Day has raised £550 for the Marie Curie Big Build appeal.
The event, held at Balsall Common Village Hall on Tuesday (February 14), was organised by fundraisers Sandy Ameer-Beg, Lynne Meacham, Sally Powell and Barbara Shelley and was sponsored by Co op, Waitrose in Kenilworth, Costco in Coventry and Oakes Farm shop in Balsall Common.
Throughout the day locals dropped in to enjoy a fantastic home-made pancake and various other refreshments on offer.
And thanks to the generosity of everyone involved the Marie Curie Big Build Papeal will now be bolstered to the tune of £550.
"A great big thank you to everyone who helpe, supported and sponsored our charity event," said organiser Sandy Ameer-beg.
"It was a great day and we are delighted with the fantastic amount of money raised for this great appeal."
