SELCO Brummies have announced that season ticket sales are continuing to rise - with figures almost doubling the number sold for the 2011 campaign.
The new Sky Sports Elite League season races into action on March 22 at Perry Barr Stadium when the Selco Builders Warehouse sponsored side entertain Wolverhampton Wolves.
New owners Chris Luty and Alan Phillips, of BCTG, are delighted with the response of fans to the exciting team building team boss Graham Drury is undertaking.
Only last Thursday, in a blaze of publicity in a city centre Media Conference, the club unveiled Polish ace Sebastian Ulamek as their latest big name signing.
Phillips said: “We are both delighted and amazed at the response. We shall double last season’s ticket sales any day now and confidently expect many more to take advantage of our great value-for-money offers.”
Full season ticket details can be obtained by visiting www.birminghambrummies.co or by ringing 07818 033766.
BRUMMIES are also launching an exciting new mascot competition, giving supporters a chance to come up with designs for the furry friend.
The idea for a mascot comes from new club owners Chris Luty and Alan Phillips and is one of a range of exciting ideas from the pair as they rejuvenate the matchday experience at Perry Barr in 2012.
Luty said: "We are looking for a family friendly, colourful and furry type animal character to play a key part in our race-day presentation.
“The new mascot would also feature heavily in our branding and many promotional ventures we are planning.
“A key part of the chosen winning design would include the Brummies famous red and yellow colours.”
The lucky winner of the competition will win a season ticket to see the Selco Brummies challenge for honours in the Sky Sports Elite League in 2012. If the winner is already a season ticket holder then the price of their season ticket will be refunded.
Entries, by the closing date of January 31, should go to office@birminghambrummies.co.
