A 27-YEAR-OLD driver suffered neck and spinal injuries in a car crash in Acocks Green.
The man was driving a Volkswagen Passat towards Solihull when the collision occurred at the junction for Warwick Road and Olton Boulevard West.
The man's car left the road and hit an embankment before stopping but the driver of the other car failed to stop.
The injured man's 22-year-old passenger received minor whiplash in the incident which happened just before midnight on December 20.
The other vehicle involved, which is thought to be a Volkswagen Polo, was driven off towards Acocks Green.
West Midlands Police said they are looking to trace the white VW which was driven off and will be showing signs of minor damage to the driver's side at the front.
