MUSICALS through the ages is the theme of a concert in Knowle.
Age UK Solihull has organised a concert on Saturday January 28 at Knowle Village Hall at 2.30pm.
The audience will be invited to sing along with favourite songs from music hall to musicals such as Marie Lloyd and Les Miserables to raise money for Age UK Solihull’s Spread the Warmth campaign which will help older people stay warm and safe this winter.
The Mayor Coun Irene Chamberlain will be in attendance and the show is being staged with the support of Solihull SUSTAiN.
Emily Cooper, Age UK Solihull's fundraising manager, said: "We are really excited about the performance.
"We have a wonderful group of local performers involved and it promises to be a fantastic afternoon, the perfect way to bring a bit of fun into January."
Tickets cost £8 and £7 for concessions and can be bought by calling 0121 7059128.
There will also be a raffle, homemade cakes and hot drinks.
