SPECIAL celebrations were taking place at The Grove residential home in Solihull this week as one of its residents marked her 100th birthday.
Centenarian Anne Chambers enjoyed a day of celebrations, a visit from Solihull Mayor Irene Chamberlain and a telegram from the Queen as she hit the magic 100 on Tuesday (October 18).
