BACK by popular demand for the Shakespeare Birthday Weekend, Much Ado About Nothing will return to the Waterside Theatre.
The production of the Bard's dark romantic comedy, brought to the stage by Struts&Frets, wowed audiences in the autumn.
Director Lucy Poulson said: "We had such a fantastic time with Much Ado in October, and received great acclaim from school groups and the general public alike, that we decided to give anyone who missed it a second chance."
The story is set amid a fiercely patriarchal society founded on idealistic codes of honour and pride. The play follows two sets of would-be lovers through their struggles to become peacefully and happily united.
Much Ado About Nothing runs at the Waterside Theatre at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday (April 26) and 7.30pm on Sunday (April 27).
Tickets cost £10. Call 01789 209111 to book or click www.watersidetheatre.co.uk
