  • Art to go on show

    Jo Sykes

    25 April 2008

SOLIHULL College’s community arts students take centre stage next week as the college hosts an exhibition of their work.
The students, who attend at outreach centres all over the borough have used a variety of different media, including watercolour, acrylics, scraperboard and pen and ink to create their miniature masterpieces.
Tutor, Victoria Littlehales is delighted with the results and is looking forward to seeing the reaction from visitors to the exhibition. She said: “I’m really proud of all the students and the hard work they have all put in. The learners who enrolled on the College’s community arts programme reflect all age groups and come from a variety of different backgrounds. We have students ranging from 24 years through to 97, but the common denominator is always the same – their love of art and desire to learn.”
